Final Exam: Monday May 7, 2012, 2-5 pm in MEC 205

Content: Cumulative across the entire semester, with emphasis on all material covered in Chapters 17-19 (note that we didn’t cover eccentric impact in Ch. 19). There will be at least 4 problems for you to work out, plus there MIGHT be another “short” problem that is slightly more conceptual than the others. I’ll make sure to write the exam so that it is appropriate for the time available. You should be sure to understand each method for rigid body kinetics. There will be questions in which you are asked to solve a specific problem using a specific method. There will also be a question that asks you to solve a problem using whatever method you choose.
