Beginning with tests taken in the 2017-2018 school year, the English Language Arts PCS-based PSSA will no longer include a mode-specific writing prompt. This Item and Scoring Sampler contains items representative of the tests administered during the 2016-2017 school year. The PSA high school curriculum builds upon the foundational middle school experiences and creates a coherent academic program that prepares students broadly and deeply in core subjects as well as allows students to explore, conduct research, and produce original works in areas of interest. Students also cultivate interdisciplinary knowledge. PSA Summer Advancement Group Class. PSA group classes are designed to entertain and engage students as a way to enhance learning and retention. The Leon Levy Dead Sea Scrolls Digital Library offers an exceptional encounter with antiquity. Using the world's most advanced imaging technology, the Digital Library preserves thousands of scroll fragments, including the oldest known copies of biblical texts, now accessible to the public for the first time. What classes will my child take at PSA? The sixth grade coursework at PSA is generally what is offered for seventh grade at most schools (for example, the 6th grade math book is titled as a 7th grade text). Students whose academic levels are higher than those “typical” classes for their age-appropriate grade may be advanced.
